Powerlink's infrastructure crosses more than 19,000 properties across Queensland. We proactively engage with landholders, developers and other key community stakeholders to ensure we can continue to safely and reliably operate and maintain our network.

Reporting to the Property Services and Management Team Leader, as a Property Assessment Coordinator, you’ll provide technical expertise and coordination support and advice on development applications that could impact Powerlink's property and infrastructure.
Here’s how:
  • You'll ensure that any developments proposed on or immediately adjacent to Powerlink land or easements are compliant with relevant legislation and Powerlink standards and policy.
  • Provide advice and technical support for the development and review of access agreements.
  • You will undertake reviews including easement terms and conditions and various access lease/licences.
  • Provide representation in any mediations or litigious matters concerning property developments.
What you’ll bring
  • Degree level qualifications in Engineering, Town Planning, Surveying or a related field
  • Extensive property and infrastructure asset management experience
  • Registration and certification with a relevant professional institute would be an advantage
We'd also love you to have:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, with the ability to self-manage and work collaboratively.
  • Advanced level skills with standard Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, Word and Project
  • Experience in design programs, including AutoCad, AutoCad Maps, PLSCadd and FME would be advantageous
  • Experience in GIS software would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated reporting and analytical skills
  • In depth working knowledge of the design, construction and maintenance of overhead transmission lines, as well as current developments in these areas.
