Property Claims Consultant - Strata

CBD, Perm Hybrid role

A well establish and highly regarded insurance broker based in Melbourne CBD is seeking and experienced Property Claims Officer to join their Strata team. n
As a Property Claims Officer your duties will include –

• Management of a portfolio of Strata/Commercial Property claims.
• Determine the nature of the loss and coverage provided, then effectively negotiate, and investigate each claim while communicating with all relevant parties.
• Provide advice on coverage.
• Proactively drive claim progress.
• Interpret policy wording and review of circumstance to ensure coverage is maximised.
• Provide structured claim solutions.
• Liaise with clients, external service providers and other insurance organisations.

Essential requirements –

• Proven history of effectively managing a portfolio Property Claims.
• Strata claims experience would be a distinct advantageous but not essential.
• Effective communication, negotiation, dispute resolution and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build a strong rapport with service providers and clients.
• Confident in your ability to effectively manage the claims process and all relevant parties.
• Ability to take ownership while working to tight deadlines.
