The roleAn exciting opportunity has become available at South East Water in our Customer Connections Group for a 2 Property Development Officers, on a permanent basis.
You will work in a team of experienced 16 Case Officers, who all report to the Property Development Team Leader. Cases officers are responsible for preparing agreements which outline fees and conditions for new builds and redevelopment of multi units and non-residential developments, which require a connection to sewer, water, and recycled water is required.
In the role you will also assess plans against a set of against criteria, to ensure that new developments don't damage South East Water's assets. One on One training will be provided, but we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves to problem solve.
Who are you?To be successful in this role, you'll have experience in a similar customer facing role along with:
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
- Sound ability to analyse applications and determine alternative servicing options to benefit the customer and South East Water
- Ability to interpret building plans and an high level understanding of the building construction processes
- High level of negotiation skills to resolve servicing and financial requirements with our customers
- Sound analytical and computer skills including MS Word, Teams and Excel
- A competitive salary starting from $93,706 plus superannuation.
