Our continued growth in our Residential Property Management business has created a new role for a Property Manager to join our Property Management team of 6 dedicated professionals.
About the role
This role will be responsible for the management of a dedicated portfolio of residential and rural properties, maintaining a systemised database and building strong relationships with our landlords, tenants and tradespeople and will be responsible for the following:
- Liaise with new and existing landlords and develop relationships to ensure their investment is managed effectively
- Maintain communication and relationships with tenants
- Organise repairs and maintenance work orders and liaise with tradespeople
- Conduct routine, ingoing and outgoing inspections and prepare conditions reports
- Maintain and minimise rental arrears
- Process rental applications and sign up new tenants
- Carry out rent reviews and lease renewals
- Prepare for and attend Tribunal hearings as required
- Identify opportunities to grow your portfolio
- Keep informed of relevant changes to legislation and communicate these changes within your portfolio
Skills and experience
Whilst previous experience in property management is desirable, we will provide full training and support for the right candidate. What is really key is a positive ‘can-do’ attitude! The successful candidate will possess the following:
- At least 2 years customer service experience
- Excellent interpersonal and computer skills
- Highly organised with attention to detail and proven ability to prioritise
- Ability to resolve issues efficiently and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Commitment to deliver exceptional customer service
- Resilient and a confident manner with a sense of humour!
- Willingness to learn, demonstrate initiative and be a valued team member
- Current driver’s licence is necessary
