We've built a culture that celebrates community, collaboration and innovation, where people love what they do.

What's the job?

Join us at TGE Australia and New Zealand and take the reins in driving our product development projects to success! In this dynamic role, you'll oversee budgets, timelines, and teams to ensure the seamless creation and launch of our innovative Hybrid, Blended, and Online (HBO) products. More than just managing projects, you'll be a guiding force for our Product Innovation team, academic staff, and shared service divisions, steering them through every stage of product design, development, and rollout. If you're ready to make a real impact and shape the future of education, we'd love to hear from you.

Day-to-day accountabilities:

Lead product development, manage stakeholders, and drive innovation in education.

  • Collaborate with Director: Product Innovation to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

  • Manage product development accounts, fostering positive client relationships across stakeholders.

  • Lead project teams in developing Hybrid, Blended, and Online (HBO) products aligned with strategy.

  • Liaise with stakeholders for project analysis, planning, and scheduling in line with strategy.

  • Plan, document, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

  • In consultation with stakeholders, develop project budgets, including Business Cases and Capital Investment Plans (CIPs).

  • Recruit, contract, and manage Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and external vendors.

  • Identify and manage project dependencies, critical paths, and risks.

  • Track and report project progress with timely status updates.

  • Schedule and chair stakeholder meetings for project and product development.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and Product Innovation team members.

  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to address business needs.

  • Collaborate with Product Innovation Team Managers to ensure quality learning design.

  • Provide guidance and support to Learning Experience Designers, Online Learning Environment Designers, and Digital Media Designers.

  • Engage with TGE Network Office (LNO) to align with company-wide product management process.

  • Stay informed on project management and online product development trends.

This is a full-time permanent position with flexible working arrangements, allowing you to work remotely and from a campus near you.

Who you are

You are a highly qualified, adaptable, and detail-oriented professional with a passion for education and a knack for communication and leadership.

  • Holds a tertiary qualification or higher in a relevant field.

  • Demonstrate expertise in task identification for online course design and development.

  • Proficient in project management software.

  • Excels under pressure and working autonomously, adapting to dynamic project environments to meet deadlines.

  • Possesses strong scope management and task prioritisation skills.

  • Proven ability in confident client communication, influencing, and precise documentation.

  • Displays well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills, driving team members and stakeholders.

  • Experienced in problem-solving within unstructured environments.

  • Thrives in teams of varying sizes and capabilities.

  • Boasts excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality.

  • Embraces challenges with a proactive "can do" attitude.

Desirable:

  • Experience in project managing course rollouts and understanding of the Education industry.

  • Agile mindset, including training or qualifications in the area.

  • Experience in business and/or process analysis and optimisation.

  • Experience managing projects using monday.com.
