We are currently seeking experienced Property Managers or candidates with relevant transferrable skills and experience from other industries, who would excel in a village that is currently in the development improvement process. You would be working alongside our development team to enhance the overall appearance and revitalisation projects within the village. Our development team have an exciting program of work planned in the next 12 months supporting the transition of our village. If you are an experienced Property Manager/s looking to assist at taking this village to the next level, this is the role for you!
Vara Ville Village is located in Mooroopna.
The successful candidate will be required to live on-site, with accommodation and utilities provided as part of the salary package.
This role will suite an individual or a management couple.
Applicants must have a great attitude, be willing to work as part of a team and always demonstrate a high level of customer service.
Previous experience in a similar role including RMS or Newbook experience is preferred but not essential.
On the job training will be provided for suitable applicants along with ongoing support from our amazing team at Head Office.
Responsibilities of our property managers (include but not limited to);
- Daily management of Property Operations – oversee and organisation of all departments within business including reception, grounds & maintenance, housekeeping, etc
- Manage after hours concerns, night patrols, emergencies etc
- Maximise revenue opportunities.
- Social Media / Marketing
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Reporting responsibilities
- Seasonal Activities for guest enjoyment
Essential Skills / Qualities:
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in a similar role managing a similar style asset
- Experience in Newbook, RMS or a similar booking software.
- Proven experience in dealing with people.
- Strong administrative and financial control experience
- Operational and project management skills
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Lead By Example / Hands on
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to go above and beyond to meet company objectives as well as ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Must hold current national police check and working with children check.
