The Company:

Trayne Consulting is currently recruiting for an experienced Property Research Analyst to join our Client's Gold Coast team, located in Bundall.   Our Client is a fast growing, private mortgage lending and investment business, that prides itself in its ability to provide efficient and forward-thinking solutions for their clients across Australia.

The Role:

Working as part of the Property team you will be responsible for researching property sale prices using tools such as RP Data, Price Finder and RealEstate.com to gain valuable insight of historic and current data.  This important information will then be assessed with the Credit Team so that informed decisions can be made about client loan applications.

This is a fast-paced role, where you will need to focus on the task at hand whilst having the ability to deal with constant interruptions and change of tasks due to the ever-changing priorities of the day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching and analysing property sale prices and other related information
  • Contacting Real Estate Agents to gain knowledge of recent sales and an understanding of current market conditions and trends
  • Utilise State and Council websites to find and record relevant planning and zoning information that may affect property value
  • Ability to write succinct reports on information gathered about each property
  • Have the ability to substantiate and communicate findings
  • Develop and grow a strong network of contacts within the Real Estate industry nationally to ensure strong relationships to gain required information
  • Mentor other team members which will include University Graduates, imparting your wealth of knowledge with the team.
  • Additional duties will include general admin and data entry to assist the team and the quick turnaround times of work.  Therefore you must have the attitude that no job is to big or too small

Skills & Attribute:

  • Experience in a similar role is a MUST
  • History as a Property Valuer and/or Real Estate agent experience would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in research, analysis and reporting is a must or relevant transferable skills
  • Knowledge & experience in the Finance/Investment, Property or Banking/Credit industry required
  • An understanding of the fundamentals of how to assess the value of property
  • Strong problem solving, research and analytical skills
  • Highly experienced in report writing
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to build positive relationships with a wide range of Real Estate Agents, as this role will see you on the telephone 50% of the day
  • Possess strong Microsoft office experience including Word, Excel & Outlook with the ability to quickly learn in-house systems
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise, be pro-active yet stay calm whilst working in a busy environment whilst working towards time sensitive deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail as every task undertaken must be "100% completed with accuracy"
  • Work autonomously whilst being part of a small fun team
  • Positive and can-do attitude to take on any new duties which may include learning new and challenging tasks and where no task is too big or too small

This role will be an ever-evolving role, where professional development to grow your career will be highly encouraged and supported.  

Please note the hours for this role are 8.30 – 5.00pm however flexibility will be required during day light savings to start earlier.

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake a police check before commencing this role.
