SalaryProperty Searches Officer – Local GovernmentLooking for an enthusiastic Property Searches Officer who is eager to gain a foothold in their local council. This position will see you working alongside the finance team to provide accurate and timely administrative services to enable effective and efficient delivery of Property Search results to effect transfer of properties.This highly sought-after position will entail the following:
- $36 p/h + 11% Super
- Logan Central Location – Work Close to Home!
- Monday to Friday 8:30am– 5:00pm

- Clear, concise, and accurate communication via email and telephone regarding property search inquiries
- Providing verbal information to conveyancing firms, agencies, and internal customers about property financial positions
- Liaising with Rates, Recoveries, and Accounts Receivable teams regarding property arrears or related accounts
- Gathering and investigating information from Council Departments for Property Searches
- Processing incoming search requests online or via mail
- Maintaining records in Council's property and document management system
- Preparing refunds for applications and conducting quality assurance checks on searches
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, particularly law or property economics, is highly regarded.
- High standard of numeracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge in relevant laws and legislative framework
- High-level of customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) to present information clearly.
- Current C class drivers
