Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the Research Pre-Award teamFull time, fixed term contract until April 2026Base salary $104,633 - $113,992 + 17% superannuationHybrid working arrangement availableAbout the opportunityThe amazing talented Pipeline and Pre Award team in DVC Research are on the hunt for another Proposal Assurance & Submission Officer to join their squad!In this role, you will manage the proposal submission administrative services and offer operational support for the Pre-Award team. You will be leading support for funding proposals and Submissions for allocated schemes and providing guidance and escalation support to Proposal Assurance & Submission Administrators.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and want to be surrounded by a high performing team, then we encourage you to read on and then apply if this sounds like you!Your key responsibilities will be to:work in the Pipeline and Pre-Award team, reporting to the Manager, Proposal Assurance & Submissionslead the administration submission requirements for allocated schemes by ensuring funding proposal and submission are compliant and meet quality assurance expectationsmaintain an accurate and systematic database of funding proposals and Submissionsunderstand the complexities of the submissions environment and provide insights, guidance, and regular reporting to the Pipeline and Pre-Awards Teamscomply with funding rules and regulatory requirementscontribute to the Research Support Community of Practice through trusted stakeholder management.About youadministrative experience in a complex and fast-paced environmentexcellent negotiating, relationship building, and stakeholder management skillssound judgement, initiative, and discretion with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrentlyhigh-level attention to detail and problem-solving skillsexcellent computer skills including Microsoft office, databases, excel programs and web-based softwareinterest in, or experience working in, a research-intensive higher education environment.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
