About the RoleThe Mental Health Education Team at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne are looking for an innovative experienced mental health clinician with an interest in Education to join the team! The
Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will be responsible for providing clinical education and mentorship to a multi-disciplinary workforce in both the community and inpatient settings across adult and older adult’s services.
- Develop & deliver inspiring and engaging education for the mental health workforce
- Shape and assess training programs for undergraduates, postgraduates, and allied health professionals, contributing to their growth and development.
Classifications for this position will range from Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($110,801 - $115,850 per annum pro rata)
Your ContributionCompleted or working towards a higher degree in nursing or relevant areaCompleted or working towards a Certificate 4 Training and Assessment or equivalent * Minimum 5 years demonstrated clinical leadership experience in adult, older persons, and/or community mental health service provision.
- Current National Criminal History Check, or willing to obtain

About Mental HealthSt. Vincent’s Mental Health (SVMH) includes an adult area mental health service for the inner-city areas of Yarra and Boroondara. The Adult Mental Health service components are: The Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU), a 44 bed Acute Inpatient Service (AIS) located on the St. Vincent’s Hospital Fitzroy Campus, the North Fitzroy PARC and two community mental health services (CMHS) at Hawthorn and East Melbourne (Clarendon CMHS) consisting of Continuing Care (CCT), Mobile Support and Treatment Service (MSTS) and Homeless Outreach (CHOPS) services, Psychiatric Triage and Crisis Assessment and Treatment (CAT) service, Police, Ambulance and Clinical Response (PACER), ED Mental Health, Extended Triage and The Primary Intervention Care Team (PICT), Hospital Outreach Post Suicide Engagement (HOPE), Supporting Tenants at Yarra Housing Project (STAY).Working at St Vincent’s
