Psychiatrist - LOCUM || QLD – Toowoomba

Salary – 2200/D (Inclusive of GST)

We’re looking for qualified and enthusiastic candidates who excel at working in teams but can also work autonomously. Candidates must be safety minded with a passion for producing high quality work.

SeekingPsychiatrist for the following period in QLD – Toowoomba:

· START: ASAP

· FINISH: Friday 22 December 2023

Roles will include Adult acute and rehab – community with a small component of inpatient. There is registrar support.

Role will include travel to rural facilities

Roster

Roster is Monday to Friday 0800-1630 with no oncall unless in emergent situations.

Documents to be supplied for candidate review:

1. Locum medical officers confirmed dates of availability
2. Current signed and dated CV.
3. Copy of current AHPRA registration
4. Two references – no more than 12 months old and at least one from a current position
5. Certified copies of Drivers Licence and passport

Accommodation

Accommodation is provided for the term of the engagement. Toowoomba Hospital has self-contained, fully furnished (with linen) units. The agency will be advised if there is a vacancy for this period in these units.

Alternatively if there are no vacant units, the agency will be requested to source external accommodation and provide quotes for approval prior to booking.

Travel

Return economy travel to and from Toowoomba is provided. If locum is driving their own vehicle, mileage can be claimed for the return trip at a pre-prescribed rates.

Medicare

It is mandatory for the locum to obtain a rebateable provider number prior to commencement.
