As the Psychiatrist, you will be responsible in the development and implementation of specialised clinical programs and care focussed on addressing the mental health and wellbeing of clients and families.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver specialist Psychiatry services in designated locations.
- Strengthen systems for safety and quality of services.
- Support continuous quality improvement of mental health and related services.
- Contribute to policy and advocacy in the area of mental health and related services and needs.
- Support the growth and development of a network of specialist mental health, addiction medicine and related providers across the SEQ ACCHS network.
- Build opportunities for formal and informal training and professional development pathways for Specialist trainees, the broader social health workforce, and primary care providers.
- AHPRA registration
- Willing to undertake a Criminal History Check
- Current C Class Driver’s License (Qld) – travel will be required across the service sites
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification
- Bachelor’s in medicine
- Disability Workers Screening Check (Yellow Card)
