Our Aim:
The Continuing Care Team - Launceston aims to deliver high quality evidenced based outcomes to consumers with severe mental health needs to improve quality of life. We aim to be innovative leaders in each discipline, so that service delivery provision remains contemporary, best practices and aligns with quality improvements.
The Role
- Provide specialist clinical psychology assessments and evidence-based treatments, including the development and facilitation of group programs and individual treatment programs for consumers of the Mental Health Continuing Care Team - Launceston.
- Perform and provide formal psychological assessments and reports.
- Provide care coordination and recovery focused services to consumers and coordinate with carers/families.
- Engage with and provide advice and consultation to a multidisciplinary team including assisting the multidisciplinary team in discharge planning, multidisciplinary case conferences and complex case coordination.
- Provide education and support to families, carers, staff, service providers and others involved in ongoing patient care and management.

Details of Appointment:
Permanent full time, day worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant
- Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.
Salary:
$106,966 to $123,013 pro rata, per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022
