This is an exciting opportunity for a Paediatric Psychologist looking to contribute their expertise to a meaningful cause while being supported by a fantastic team.

• Excellent salary package $110 K + super, per annum
• Bonus $5,000 per annum CPD/supervision
• Bonus $22,000 

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

As a valued member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

• Providing comprehensive assessments and therapeutic treatment to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, as well as parents managing children with behavioral, social, and emotional challenges.
• Conducting diagnostic assessments with proficiency in clinical report-writing and maintaining accurate case notes.
• Collaborating closely with our multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic care and effective treatment plans.
• Mentoring and supervising our therapy support team through case discussions, feedback on reports, and ongoing support.
• Leading evidence-based group therapy programs to address specific therapeutic goals.
• Actively participating in team and peer supervision meetings to enhance professional development and clinical practice.
• Adhering to the ethical standards outlined by the Australian Psychological Society's Code of Ethics.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

As a successful applicant, you'll demonstrate:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• A genuine passion for learning and professional growth, coupled with a commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
• Proven experience and expertise in counseling and case management of children and families facing diverse challenges.
• Strong proficiency in providing evidence-based psychological interventions, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
• Exceptional record management, report-writing, and case note-taking skills, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
• The ability to engage and retain clients effectively, fostering positive therapeutic relationships.
• Competence in managing caseloads independently within a collaborative team environment.

Desirable Skills (not essential):

• Experience working with individuals with complex behaviours, including autism spectrum disorder.
• Eligibility to register with Medicare, facilitating access to additional resources and services.
• Familiarity with administering the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), enhancing diagnostic capabilities.
