AddressThe Psychology Department are looking for several Senior Psychologists to join their team. The Redlands Psychology Department is based at Redlands Hospital and delivers clinical services across all Redlands facilities including Gundu Pa (Wynnum Health Service Centre) and the new Redland Bay Satellite Hospital. This department is an expanding and innovative specialist service within the hospital and community service centres with a diverse skill mix of Psychologists including paediatric diabetes; acute medical and complex inpatients; neuropsychology, kidney dialysis, physiotherapy outpatients and specialist medical clinics.

About the Role
The purpose of this role is to deliver senior psychology services within Redlands Health Service expanding outpatient clinics. Clinical service priorities will include kidney dialysis; physiotherapy screening clinics targeting pain and associated musculoskeletal conditions, specialist medical outpatients (cardiology, gastroenterology, respiratory) and the Movement Disorders clinic. Psychology outpatient services will include contributing to service development and multi-disciplinary team working, referral management and triaging, assess, formulate and complex diagnostics to guide efficient and effective psychological input and individual and innovative group interventions .
This includes:
- Delivering high quality evidenced based psychology clinical services to patients/consumers within a highly functioning interprofessional team.
- Contribution to the advancement of quality psychology services and optimal patient care, through provision of service development, quality improvement, and clinical education.
- Monitoring and reporting on work practices and outcomes, including initiating, planning and evaluating relevant quality and research initiatives.
- Providing supervision and training to less experienced (HP3) clinicians, students and to Allied Health Assistants (AHA's).
