Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.Your Opportunity:The position of PPCS Bereavement Coordinator will:

• Deliver a contemporary model of Bereavement Care and coordination that is fit for purpose for Children's Health Queensland, Hospital and Health Service (CHQ). The position is responsible for implementing a standardised CHQ response for bereaved families known to PPCS and their community of supporters, that aligns with the Australian Health and Quality Standards.
• Provide clinical leadership at a state-wide level, including contributions to models of care, policy, resource development, research, education, and mentoring.
• Co-ordinate bereavement support services for families cared for by the Paediatric Palliative Care Service based at Queensland Children's Hospital, including the provision of assessment, intervention, consultation, and referral services.
