- Deliver a contemporary model of Bereavement Care and coordination that is fit for purpose for Children's Health Queensland, Hospital and Health Service (CHQ). The position is responsible for implementing a standardised CHQ response for bereaved families known to PPCS and their community of supporters, that aligns with the Australian Health and Quality Standards.
- Provide clinical leadership at a state-wide level, including contributions to models of care, policy, resource development, research, education, and mentoring.
- Co-ordinate bereavement support services for families cared for by the Paediatric Palliative Care Service based at Queensland Children's Hospital, including the provision of assessment, intervention, consultation, and referral services.
