Schneider Health is a busy, multidisciplinary Gastroenterology practice focused on delivering holistic and innovative care to our patients.

We are currently looking for a passionate Psychologist.

About you:

• The position is for a sub-contractor on a fee for service arrangement completing one-on- one appointments in a clinic setting (including telehealth where appropriate) with the support of full time administrative staff.
• Ability to effectively engage and establish rapport with our patients, their families and other care providers.
• Collaborate with other clinicians (Dietitian, Pelvic Floor Physio, Gastroenterologists,
• Practice Nurse as well as other members of the patient’s care team outside of the practice)
• Possess the ability to offer a range of therapeutic interventions to patients of all ages, and many different conditions (e.g eating disorders, chronic pain, health based trauma).
• Understanding of the mind-gut link.
• Experience treating complex patients with multiple health and psychological conditions.
• Up to date with evidence based psychological intervention. Innovative and dynamic approach.
• Able to manage caseload independently.
• Active AHPRA registration.
• Documentation and diary management. Use of Clinic To Cloud or similar practice management software valuable but not necessary.
