An opportunity currently exists for Grade 2Clinical Psychologist / Health Psychologist to work on a temporary part time basis within the Specialist Medical Inpatient Service at Western Health. This service provides consultancy to several clinical areas, including the Intensive Care Unit, acute general medical and surgical units, coronary care, and sub-specialty medical and surgical services.Psychologists within the Psychology Specialist Medical team work alongside Allied Health, Nursing and Medical staff, to provide Best Care to the community of the West. In this role, you will also work alongside other Psychologists in the broader inpatient services – which includes a Neuropsychology, Health Psychology and Clinical Psychology.In this role you will play a key clinical role in providing highly skilled psychological assessment, individual and group interventions, and psychoeducation, and work alongside a team of passionate and highly skilled Psychologists at Western Health. Depending on your experience, support of postgraduate trainees on fieldwork placement may also be required.To be Successful in this Role, you will have:
