Role Description
Part-time or full-time salaried role is available for a motivated and engaging Child & Adolescent Psychologist.
The role:
Working with children, teens, and their families to drive positive, long-term mental health outcomes.
Deliver evidence-based therapy in accordance with your treatment plans.
Adhere to best-practice assessment guidelines in the pursuit of clinical excellence
Focus on the therapeutic alliance as a key agent of change.
Collaborate with the team to enhance clinical practices and outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in the field of Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy (with mental health accreditation)
Full registration (or eligible within 1 month) with AHPRA
Eligibility for a Medicare Provider number and to provide services under the Better Access to Mental Health Care scheme.
Experience and Attributes
Previous experience working individually with children and teens
Experience in providing therapy in diverse therapeutic areas
Proven ability to administer diagnostic assessments, particularly in the area of neurodevelopmental differences (e.g. ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia).
Track record of delivering outcomes through psychological interventions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative culture
Passion for professional development and continuous learning
