Job description

Our client, a renowned organisation dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and their families, is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Psychologist to join their vibrant team in Wanneroo, WA 6065. This full-time position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact in the lives of children with autism and other developmental, learning, and behavioural needs, with a competitive salary range of $80k - $120k.

The Role:
  • Collaborative Team Environment: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, OTs, and behaviour support practitioners.
  • Comprehensive Assessments: Utilise standardised assessments to establish goals and needs, ensuring alignment with DSM-5 criteria.
  • Evidence-Based Interventions: Offer tailored recommendations and therapy interventions to support learning, social, and behavioural development.
  • Family-Centric Approach: Develop functional, routine-based goals with clients and families, focusing on strengths, needs, and preferences.
  • Community Inclusion: Advocate for and support client participation in community activities.
What You Need:
  • Qualifications: Tertiary degree in Psychology with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience: Proficiency in risk assessments and a strong passion for making therapy engaging and meaningful. Previous experience in autism diagnosis and support is highly desirable.
  • Compliance: AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS worker screening check, COVID-19 vaccination certificate or exemption, First Aid Training, Driver’s License & Vehicle.
