To support increasing demand within one part of our business, we are looking for an exceptional Clinical Psychologist, Educational and Development Psychologist, or Neuropsychologist, who has a special interest in assessment, diagnosis, and report delivery to lead and grow our psychology assessment service.
The role
As the Principal Clinical Psychologist, Educational and Development Psychologist, or Neuropsychologist your role is focused on both developing the service and on assessments where you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership in the psychology assessment service, ensuring alignment with MediGroup's mission and standards of care.
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments with a broad and diverse range of clients, formulate diagnoses, and complete report writing tailored to individual client needs. This is inclusive of clients from across the lifespan and NDIS, DVA, ACAT, Medicare, insurance, and privately referred clients.
- Initiate and implement the development of clinical assessment systems, processes, and procedures for effective and efficient service delivery.
- Spearhead the development of innovative assessment process and practice including enhancing the service in line with cutting-edge technology, evolving best practices, and client’s needs.
- Take full responsibility for independently managing your portfolio of work.
- Initially be involved in bookings and screening.
- Ensure the highest standards of clinical practice and adherence to regulatory and ethical guidelines, including implementing continuous improvement of service delivery for clients.

The person
To excel in this role, we are looking for a natural leader who is friendly, easy-going, highly professional, incredibly personable and an absolute go-getter! Importantly, you will have the following specific qualifications, experience, skills, and qualities:
- Accredited Masters / Doctorate / PhD in Clinical Psychology, Educational and Development Psychology, or Neuropsychology
- Current unrestricted specialist title registration with AHPRA
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience…however…for the right individual - a graduate or someone with less experience will absolutely be considered!
- Experience in psychological assessments
- Interesting and varied experience with providing psychological and or assessment services in some or all the following practice areas - working across the lifespan, the disability sector, aged care, insurers, worker’s compensation, DVA, or the education sector
- A high degree of professional competence and capability
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional social and emotional intelligence
- Resilience
- An unwavering commitment to professional excellence
- A high attention to detail and personal pride in producing efficient, high-quality deliverables
- An entrepreneurial spirit and strong commercial acumen

In addition, to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of the role, it is essential to have, or be eligible to obtain the following:
- Medicare Provider Number
- Police Clearance (no older than 3 months), or eligible to obtain one
- Fully COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current WA Working with Children check & NDIS Worker Check, or eligible to obtain one
- Current WA driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
