Psychologist - Westside Lodge Dual Diagnosis Rehabilitation Centre (DDRC)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists at Drug Health Services for a part-time (0.6 FTE) psychologist.
The Psychologist is part of a broader multi-disciplinary team and will be primarily responsible for psychological assessment and intervention of clients to assist with diagnosis, treatment (individual and group) and discharge planning. The Psychologist will also be involved in the provision of consultation to Medical, Nursing and Allied Health Staff in relation to more complex mental health disorders, clinical presentations and management of the client's associated behaviours.
About You
As an experienced Psychologist, you will:
- Have membership or eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society and relevant college(s).
- Have current registration with AHPRA and endorsement in clinical or health psychology
- Have a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team as well as liaise and consult with a range of clients, carers, professionals an community agencies as an independent clinician
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Be committed to Western Health's Values and Best Care framework
