The Opportunity
Beam Health is looking for an experienced Psychology & Mental Health Supervisor/Lead who thrives in a dynamic and supportive environment to join our growing team open to which of our clinic locations best suit (Warners Bay, Cessnock, Tuggerah or West Gosford).
The Psychology & Mental Health Supervisor/Lead will provide clinical leadership, support, and supervision to an allocated team of Psychologists and/or Mental Health Practitioners at Beam Health, ensuring a high quality and effective clinical service provision.
It would be desirable if the position holder was well versed in Behaviour Support, and would enjoy supporting others within the team in this area.
The position holder will also maintain a caseload of clients to ensure you still get to enjoy providing high quality direct support and intervention to your clients and families.

The Role
As a Psychology & Mental Health Supervisor/Lead, you will:
- Lead the allocated team of clinicians to ensure team members are satisfied, motivated and performing to a high level
- Support the onboarding and offboarding of clinicians
- Provide regular management and clinical supervision to your allocated clinicians
- Lead your allocated clinicians to meet or exceed their performance expectations consistently
- Conduct a range of assessments (we have most assessment tools and resources, but if we don’t have something, we will get it)
- Deliver quality therapy and interventions
- Providing consultation and advice to care teams, professionals and families
- Write high quality reports and letters
- Run group programs, workshops and training (if desired)
- Work with early years educators, school teachers, community services professionals in a collaborative way
- Work in a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary model for selected cases
- Participate in regular team meetings, supervision and team learning days
- Write and develop information and resources for use by clinicians, parents, professionals and children/young people
- Be supported to pursue your clinical interests and passions under a professional development plan
- Opportunities to work in PHN programs that include either children and family, adults or both

The Requirements
To apply for the role, we would like you to have:
- A Psychologist who has current registration with APHRA and good experience in Mental Health
- A Social Worker who is a current member of, or eligible for, membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with good experience in mental heath
- A Counsellor who is a current member of, or eligible for, membership with PACFA or ACA with good experience in Mental Health
- An Registered Nurse (specialising in Mental Health) with a current registration with AHPRA
- An Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner with current national registration with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia (ATSIHPBA)
- Eligibility to provide NDIS and Medicare services
- Experience in or a passion for working with children, youth and families
- A positive outlook with good ethics
- NSW drivers license and own vehicle
- Ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with GPs, NDIS stakeholders, Pediatricians, allied health professionals, community service agencies and other professionals that are beneficial to Beam Health.
- Planning, implementation and evaluation of clinical services or programs (or an interest in learning).
- Strong teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to grow and develop a sustainable and quality therapeutic and clinical service discipline
- Passion and commitment to ongoing professional development
