An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Psychosocial Recovery Coach to join the Caloundra team at STEPS full time on the Sunshine Coast.
The Position
This position will facilitate NDIS service navigation, intake and support coordination for clients living with complex mental health conditions. The core responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate all day-to-day aspects of NDIS service navigation, quoting, intake and support coordination for clients with mental health conditions.
- Engage with clients to undertake plan coordination services, informing clients of services and service providers available within their approved funding
- Working with participants to manage and adapt to the complex challenges of mental health
- Using a personal recovery approach embedded within a choice and control framework to engage with participants about their psychosocial support services
- Conduct plan management activities, include regular monitoring and review of service provider invoices
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this opportunity you must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrate a minimum of 12 months experience in the field of either Recovery Coaching or Peer Support.
- Certificate IV in Mental Health or experience working with complex Mental Health needs is essential
- Experience coordinating a broad range of community service programs
- Covid 19 vaccination- mandatory
Applicants must also have the ability to complete a police check, hold a blue card, NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Orientation Module and have a current driver's license
