The Junction Clubhouse is a busy place for the people with lived experience of mental illness. Our business is growing, and our NDIS program is now looking for an additional Support Coordinator/Psychosocial Recovery Coach. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be innovative whilst making a real difference in the lives of participants with all disabilities by helping them to achieve their NDIS goals.
To qualify for this role, you will demonstrate:
- Understanding of the NDIS quality and safeguarding commission practice standards, the NDIA code of conduct and relevant legislation
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the community sector in a similar position (either as a case manager or support coordinator)
- Relevant qualification (Cert IV in Mental Health/Disability or above)
- Experience with disability and mental wellbeing
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Knowledge of the local community to create opportunities for increased participation for the people you support
- The ability to develop positive relationships with staff, participants and key community stakeholders while maintaining professional boundaries
- High-level written and oral communication skills, including report writing
- Independent management of a varied caseload of participants, ensuring quality of care while meeting client objectives and requirements
- Assistance to participants to achieve their goals and monitor plan outcomes and expenditure, to ensure service remains within budget for each participant
- Ability to clearly document participant progress through case notes, progress reports and plan review reports
- Achieving KPI’s set around billable hours, reports, and meeting deadlines
- Ability to market and promote service

- National Police criminal history record check
- Current Australian “C” class driver licence
- Own vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Paid Blue Card and Yellow Card
- Modern Smart Phone
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
