- Individual, couples and group therapy
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing
- Case and Organisational Consultation

- Development and Delivery of Unique Individualised Training Across Multiple Community Service Organisations, NGO’s and Companies
- Part-time role, two - three days per week (negotiable)

- Working across Bendigo and Macedon Ranges (and surrounds)
- Provision of therapy to those who present with complex trauma, Mental Health, disability or where comorbidity may exist.
- Provision of services in an Outreach, in reach or online capacity
- Operate under Duty of Care and understand the National Disability Insurance Scheme, Child Protection and health systems.
- Be agile and consistent in delivery of services ensuring your therapy is tailored to the individual needs.
- Participate in supervision with your line manager and remain transparent in case progress to ensure best support to you and the client.
- Have working knowledge on therapeutic models of support and contemporary practices within the Mental Health and disability sector.
- Maintain sound notes on sessions and provide feedback to care teams and families where and as appropriate.
- Provide (with support) training and consulting to stakeholders when required.
- Be willing to travel across Bendigo and Goldfields Region and Macedon Ranges
- Be a self-starter who can operate with great level of autonomy and lead your own therapeutic practices.
- Possess knowledge and understanding relating to therapeutic approaches, theoretical frameworks relevant to Mental Health, trauma and disability.
- Be able to manage crisis as part of a care team and be able to lead a care team in decision making processes.
- Be able to delineate your role from those of the care team and set clear boundaries for yourself.
- Be a collaborator within the organisation and with a care team.
- Be creative in practice and adopt different modalities within practice outside of the traditional talk therapy method. Experience in Therapeutic Life Story Work and EMDR preferred.
- Have at minimum, 18 months experience in the sector or in delivery of individual therapy.
- Have strong clinical communication skills both written and oral.
- Possess great understanding of inclusion and diversity and always maintain respect and client rights.
- Possess the skills or desire to learn how to provide organisational and company consultation.
- hold a valid WWCC.
- hold a valid Victorian Drivers Licence and have access to a vehicle.
- Provide a Criminal record Check.
- Hold a degree in clinical psychology, psychotherapy, counselling or social welfare. Masters Preferred. Must be registered with a recognised peak body or working towards it.
- Have at least 18 months experience of therapy provision or in the Mental Health industry.
- It would be advantageous for the candidate to hold a qualification in Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing and/or Therapeutic Life Story Work.
