As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, your responsibilities will include:
Provide evidenced based nursing care including a comprehensive assessment of patients receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy as well as other infusions for conditions such as Crohn’s and MS.
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

About You
Current Registration with AHPRA
Working with Children check
Ideally 3 years of nursing experience with some understanding of oncology and haematology nursing care.
Ideally experience administering cytotoxic chemotherapy and/or related cancer treatments
Competency in PICC, PORT, IV Cannulation and phlebotomy skills or working towards
ADAC qualification, CVAD management experience and high level computer literacy
Commitment to Quality Patient Care
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Works well independently and within a team
Basic computer skills
