Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards
- Manage daily activities, including reservations, housekeeping, and guest services
- Work closely with department heads to optimise performance
Guest Experience:
- Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Address guest feedback promptly and professionally
- Implement strategies to enhance overall guest satisfaction
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire a dedicated team
- Foster a positive work environment and strong team culture
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge
Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met
- Implement cost-effective measures without compromising service quality
- Monitor revenue streams and identify opportunities for growth
Community Engagement:
- Build and maintain positive relationships within the local community
- Explore partnerships and promotional opportunities to enhance the hotel's visibility
- Contribute to community events and initiatives
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience in Pub/Hotel management essential
- Must have current RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Managers Licence, Gaming Nominee, CLO.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of the local community and its dynamics
- Ability to adapt to a regional setting
