AddressThe Muragh Group is on the hunt for a Venue Manager for – Botany | Newstead. You will be responsible for all matters involving the venue, stock control, wages, training, venue presentation, staffing, menu creation etc. You will work closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure the venue is running at the highest standard of service and efficiency whilst maintaining an excellent reputation. Botany is a full service restaurant and bar trading 11:30am – late and breakfast from 8:30am on weekends.

Botany is the absolute Newstead local. Solid weekday trade with great lunch deals, daily happy hours and a very strong local following. Weekend brunch is also immensely popular. Botany trades 7 days. 11:30am open on weekdays and 8:30am on weekends. Closed Sunday nights for dinner.
A tight kitchen team, runs some quick services with minimal staff so organisation and prep planning are necessary. Sell out events on days like Mothers Day, Valentines day, Christmas Eve etc. We also take part in Teneriffe Festival each year. We run weekly Trivia nights on Thursdays, live music every Friday and Saturday nights.
About you:
- Previous experience as an assistant manager or Venue Manager
- Are comfortable in a bar, on the coffee machine, the pass or on the floor
- Sound understanding of ordering, suppliers, rosters and cost control
- Anything you don't know, you are happy to learn
