About the Role
You'll be assisting in the development and implementation of communication plans and strategies for the International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) program.
Duties
- Draft communication content for various audiences, which may include social media posts and graphics, website content, newsletter articles, event information kits, videos and accessible communication materials.
- Coordinate clearances of communications content and products.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of strategic communication initiatives including monthly social media reporting.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a Public Affairs or communication role, or possess relevant tertiary qualifications in journalism, communication, marketing or related fields.
What's on offer
The successful candidate will notionally be offered a 12month hourly rate contract at the APS4/5 level (dependant on experience). This position is based in Canberra.
As this role is with the Federal Government, only Australian citizens will be considered for this vacancy.
