WHO WE NEED

Challenger is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and results driven part time Public Areas Supervisor to attend to the overnight supervision of the public area cleaning operations at a 4-5 star hotel. In this hands-on role, you will be encouraged to take pride in your work and that of your team, delivering our award winning exceptional standards and ensuring the hotel presents to a high quality for the enjoyment of visitors and guests.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Assist with the overnight supervision of the Public Areas team to ensure it is managed efficiently according to Challenger and client quality standards, policies and procedures.
• Be hands on with required duties, co-ordinating work and setting a positive example of leadership and responsibility for your team.
• Train and oversee team members, ensuring they maintain a professional manner and are up to date with hotel events and the requirements of the hotel.
• Manage and maintain a clean and tidy working environment for the hotel Public Areas, ensuring all public area attendants are doing the same.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a Supervisory or team leader role, within a 4-5 star hotel or serviced apartment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Solid knowledge of effective public area cleaning methods and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Available to work across a 7-day overnight roster.
