• Provision of expert advice and support to health care professionals and the public on Communicable Disease control.
• Participation in and supporting enhanced surveillance and investigation of notifiable and non-notifiable diseases in accordance with national and state guidelines.
• Investigation and management of outbreaks in childcare centres, residential aged care facilities and other agencies as required.
• Delivery of education programs to key stakeholders in the Sunshine Coast Health region.
• Be the clinical resource for Clinical Nurses within Communicable Disease, regarding complicated Public Health follow-up, conditions involving complex health needs such as pregnancy, immunodeficiency/suppression.
• Maintain data integrity and confidentiality of Queensland Health Notifiable Conditions Systems (NOCS) and Australian Immunisation Register (AIR).

Remuneration value up to $164 212 p.a., comprising salary between $132 562 - $143 924 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7).
