Role Details
The primary responsibility of the Public Relations & Communications Manager is to develop and implement effective PR and communications strategies across the full spectrum of the business. This extends to corporate communications strategies for the organisation as well as our projects/developments in either the Build to Sell or Build to Rent space, with the aim to drive reputational benefit and positive market sentiment for the organisation and our different property offerings.
Role Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Public Relations/communications/ marketing/business or related
- 7+ years of demonstrated success in a Public Relations or Communications role. Experience in the property industry will be viewed with preference
- Strategic communications experience to proactively identify opportunities and risks, and to recommend creative solutions to address complex problems and sensitive issues
- Experience in social media strategy
- Experience in managing external PR agencies, communication consulting firms and contractors
- Proven experience in managing media and communications plans and campaigns on time and within budget
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for a range of audiences and channels
- Comfortable engaging across all levels of the business with the ability to sell-in ideas and positively influence
- Ability to take initiative, be flexible and adaptable
- Demonstrated organisational, project planning and management skills to support multiple concurrent projects and activities
