As a Public Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for driving the Employsure public profile and telling the Employsure story as our main media representative across Australia and New Zealand.
  
You will have a knack for storytelling and will leverage your network to pitch stories to news and media outlets both reactively and proactively. You will work with stakeholders across the business to uncover newsworthy and exciting stories, as well as have your finger on the pulse on local and global industry trends and the new agenda.

What does your day look like?

• Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting Employsure group clients and act quickly on identifying PR opportunities surrounding them.
• Build and engage with a list of media contacts to ensure the brand is front of mind for any relevant opportunities.
• Produce and edit written opinion-based content for earned and owned channels as required, including (but not limited to) social media, award submissions, marketing collateral and Employsure websites.
• Write, review, and distribute media related content, including pitching stories directly into media.
• Monitor and respond to community engagement on company social media pages, contributing to the management of brand reputation.
• Monitor industry news and developments and use our data, insights, and experts to tell engaging stories externally across Australia and New Zealand.

Your story so far:

• 3-4 years of experience in a similar PR role – agency experience desirable (Experienced AM or high-performing SAE).
• Excellent media management and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with Streem media monitoring platform highly desirable (but not essential).
• Motivated and gregarious attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and apply critical thinking.
• Experience in a B2B environment is highly regarded, B2C creativity also desirable.
