About the role
- Based in Kingaroy
- Permanent - Full Time
- $66K - $69K per annum + Allowances + Super
Council is seeking an Officer to perform full supply chain duties that supports Council operations through efficient inventory management processes and purchasing tasks. This position will undertake all aspects and functions related to inventory management including the accurate recording, receipt and issuance of inventory items, conduct annual and periodic stock takes and spot checks, as well as maintain the full supply chain of inventory for Council operations and accurately record financial and non-financial transactions into various business systems. The successful applicant will hold supply chain/ inventory control experience, have well-developed communication, negotiation and time management skills with ability to work around a computer and corporate systems.

- Demonstrated experience in warehousing with knowledge of purchasing procedures, stock control, and stock receipting procedures.
- Well-developed negotiation skills relevant to supply chain management and purchasing tasks.
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to deliver high quality resolutions and build customer relations.
- Sound level of keyboard and computer skills including knowledge of the MS Office Suite and knowledge of Council’s corporate software systems.
- Proven time management and organisational skills with the ability to accept responsibility, display initiative, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
