Purchasing Logistics Officer

Adrad Pty Ltd, a leading organisation listed on the Australian Stock Exchange as Adrad Holdings, is a renowned player in the automotive industry. We are seeking a full time Purchasing/Logistics Coordinator who possesses strong administrative and customer service skills along with a passion for continuous improvement. The successful candidate will be accountable for meeting the purchasing deadlines and quality goals, as well as playing a key role in meeting company-wide profitability and customer satisfaction goals. Ideally the candidate will have proven purchasing experience working in a fast pace purchasing environment.

Responsibilities: -

• Purchasing/sourcing across multiple categories including goods & services;
• Management of existing preferred suppliers, ensuring mutually beneficial relationships and driving added value for the organisation and its customers;
• Analysis and reporting of supplier performance, supply chain risks and procurement activities to identify opportunities for improvement and savings;
• High volume PO processing using an ERP;
• Maintaining inventory and item integrity
• Reviewing and monitoring stock levels to ensure uninterrupted stock replenishment;
• Collaborating closely with your stakeholder group, and the wider business to add significant value to project delivery;
• Coordinating Logistics

Experience and Capabilities:

• Previous experience in a similar role;
• Solid analytical & high proficiency in numeracy and literacy skills.
• Relationship building skills, ability to collaborate with colleagues & stakeholders, supporting them while adding value and achieving outcomes for the purchasing department;
• Intermediate computer skills across Excel and MRP systems demonstrated high volume purchasing experience;
• Excellent communication skills, and the ability to think logically when problem solving;
• A strong team player;
• Organisation and time management skills are required to keep up with this busy role.
