Required
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Supply Chain & Logistics, you will be responsible for managing a team of qualified Purchasing managers across QLD, NSW and VIC and will be required to travel and engage them with on a semi-regular basis. You will be accountable for:
- Ensuring purchasing is initiated on time & in line with project milestones & stakeholder requirements
- Liaison/stakeholder engagement with associated teams and management
- Ensuring governance of supply systems, ensuring purchasing is executed through approved suppliers, and supplier system attributes are proactively maintained
- Reviewing and evaluating technical work

About You
- 5+ years relevant experience in Technical Supply Chain management
- Commercially astute, with the ability to influence and negotiate
- Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to work
- Highly proficient utilising Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Strong knowledge of procurement, purchasing and supply chain management
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
- Able to engage and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve issues and achieve required outcomes
- Good leadership track record, people management, able to build effective teams, resolve conflict and lead by example.
