Collinsville Open Cut is located approximately 160km from Airlie Beach in Queensland, a town known as the gateway to the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef. Producing both metallurgical and thermal coal for the export market, the surface mine has a long life and is transitioning from a dragline strip to a truck and shovel terrace operation. Collinsville also offers accommodation provided at the on-site village boasting comfortable facilities.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor this role is primarily responsible for assisting in providing a cost effective and efficient procurement, warehousing, and distribution service in line with site requirements and guiding policy.
You will demonstrate extensive experience in all aspects of supply including procurement and warehousing coupled with a high level of inventory management skills. Analysing, monitoring and reporting on anomalies and discrepancies within the procurement process is what you do best. Combined with your effective interpersonal and organisational skills, you take pride in resolving and responding to account queries without delay. Your flexible attitude, ability to work in high pressure, competing priority and ambiguous environments will enable you to succeed in this role.
Working within the Supply department and based on a rotating 8/6 Dayshift only roster panel you will bring experience of stores or warehouse work in a busy and challenging environment. You'll have an eye for detail, be highly organised and work well within a team. You're the person who likes to get out from behind a desk and take an active role in supporting your team. Dedicated towards providing great customer service, you enjoy interacting with a range of people throughout the day and pride yourself on your communication skills, and that safety focus.
You will have experience in a procurement database (SAP) and a forklift ticket is desirable.
