As standard, we offer a shift between 7:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. This can be negotiated to suit your needs if required.
How You Will Help Us
- Assist with local and overseas purchasing incl;
- Extract data from ERP system and use forecasting tool to generate reports/stock requirements
- Create purchase orders and liaise with suppliers
- Track status of orders, follow up on delays, and update item due dates
- Receipt goods and approve invoices
- Update and maintain records of all orders and stock received
- Prepare back order reporting for customers, as required
- Establish and develop good working relationships with suppliers
Skills You Will Need
- A minimum of 1 year experience in purchasing and/or procurement
- Excellent knowledge of financial best practices and the buying process
- Very competent in Excel and Microsoft Office
- The ability to create strong working relationships with personnel, suppliers, and management
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work as a team player and independently
- Willingness to learn the product and positive attitude
