We are a leading provider of off-road vehicles and accessories, specialising in all-terrain vehicles capable of travelling the world! We are seeking an experienced full-time Purchasing Officer to join our team in Brendale. Picture yourself navigating the exciting terrain of procurement, negotiating strategic deals, and ensuring the seamless flow of supplies to keep our off-road machines at their best. This is a great opportunity for someone proactive, with motivation to improve our fast growing business. 

Please note - a strong understanding of the automotive industry is a requirement.

Your typical day will include:

• Managing and maintaining the company’s stock inventory and workshop consumables including stock profiles and stock locations
• Implement and manage inventory cycle stock counting / inventory accuracy checks
• Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant stock maximizing available working capital
• Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system 
• Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved
• Procurement of non-stock items
• Maintaining supplier relationships

• Exceptional data entry skills
• Experience in the automotive industry 
• Ability to work independently, take ownership and have problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to manage supplier payments and invoicing
• Clear and professional phone manner
• Be enthusiastic and have a professional approach to your work
• Ability to work under pressure
