The Role
Genus Industrial is searching for a full-time QA/QC Engineer for the Kwinana Battery Energy Storage System to work on site at Kwinana.
Project Scope / Overview:
Genus is currently contracted by Synergy to carry out the Civil and Electrical Balance of Plant works for the KBESS2 250 MVA/1000 MWh battery storage facility in Kwinana. The contract, including early works, is valued at approximately $90 million and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024.
KBESS2 has four times the storage capacity of the recently completed KBESS1. This project is part of the Western Australia State Government’s decarbonisation strategy, which includes the commitment to retire State-owned coal power stations by 2030. KBESS2 will support the continuous growth in distributed solar generation and the connection of large-scale renewable generation assets to the network.
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 17:00
Friday: 06:00 - 16:00
Please make a note of the following requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a relevant technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance position.
- Experience in civil construction.
- Experience in QA/QC roles on large-scale construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving performance goals and objectives.
