THE ROLE
As a QA/QC Engineer within our organization you will be tasked to manage the quality assurance and quality control of the rapidly expanding program of works.
This includes:
- Develop and implement quality management plans and procedures for the project in accordance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Perform inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Verify compliance with quality requirements and identify any deficiencies through review of project documentation and deliverables.
- Measure, track and report on project quality performance.
- Manage suppliers and subcontractors from selection, evaluation and monitoring of their quality performance throughout the project.
- Maintain quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify quality risk and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree qualified Mechanical engineer is preferred
- 5+ years' experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
- Relevant experience in Project Engineering or Construction Management
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Provide quality assurance support to the team
- Positive attitude towards company culture and team player
- Excellent communication skills
