AddressFoundation Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer to join a well-established construction services and environmental contractor based in Darwin NT.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and understanding in civil engineering or construction management, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from the initial phase through to completion. The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple areas of construction projects in addition to administrative aspects around the position.
Key Responsibilities:
-Managing construction activities and ensuring design drawings, specifications, and construction standards are adhered to.
-Ensuring work carried out is in line with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-Identifying and resolving technical issues.
-Coordinating and communicating with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders in instances such as project meetings and updates.
-Overseeing construction teams and providing technical guidance, suggestions and support accordingly.
-Proposing cost estimates.
-Preparing, reviewing and feeding back project schedules and progress reports.
-Updating and maintaining records including activities, materials and expenses.
-Conducting consistent inspections and quality control checks.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
-Professional Engineer license or other relevant qualifications.
-Experience with large-scale construction projects and complex infrastructure.
