About you Prior Commissioning QA/QC experience & MDR compilation expertise. You are available to accept a temporary fixed term contract, with the ability to commence in the coming 1-2 weeks and comfortable with closing out the project to July 2024. Be open to a FIFO role working on a 2:1 roster. You will ideally have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role - preferably in Infrastructure or Commercial Building or a Camp environment. You will have an Engineering - QA/QC background. You are a team player and are happy to share your knowledge with others. Previous experience in an onsite quality role/position.The Project and Role Overview The project is a $87M High Eng Fly Camp on a Greenfields project at West Musgrave WA approximately 1,300 km north-east of Perth near to the border of SA and the NT. The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing the performance of the daily quality assurance and quality control responsibilities of projects to ensure the projects are constructed in accordance with the established minimum standards. The construction quality assurance includes direct oversight and review of the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the workflow process.Duties and Responsibilities The QA/QC Engineer reports directly to the Site Manager for the sake of assuring that conflict of interest does not occur among the productivity, schedule, safety and the quality objectives of the project. Oversee the performance of the daily quality control responsibilities for the project. Assist the implementation and maintain the site project quality management system across all disciplines of the project. Ensure progressive monitoring, recording, tracking and collation of all quality documents for each construction discipline (including – Inspection Test Plans, Field Checklists, Construction Verification Certificates, Test Records, Commissioning Documentation etc.). Work closely with the site engineer on quality and technical related matters. Liaise with client quality representatives as required. Ensure latest revision drawings and documents are being used. Perform Quality checks on all completion documents received from the contractors and staff. Maintain the NCR register and coordinate the responses to the client/sub-contractors (external/internal NCR’S) whilst ensuring corrective actions have been completed in a timely manner. Assist in the progressive compiling of project area MDR records. Participation in periodic site quality audits, ensuring where required, non-conformances are followed up and actioned effectively. Attend project meetings as required. Regularly communicate with Perth Head Office on site QA/QC issues / progress. Oversee the progression of Red/Blue Line As-Built Drawings.
