Qc Chemistry Analyst - Pharmaceutical

• Well-known pharmaceutical company located not far from Melbourne CBD
• Seeking a QC Chemistry Analyst
• 12-month contract with potential to extend
• Sunday - Thursday 
• 8-hour shifts starting between 7am - 9:30am

• Chemical testing HPLC, GC-MS and physical testing AA and UV Inspection and acceptance testing of raw materials in the main store LIMS login of samples
• Operating, Maintaining, troubleshooting and calibrating Laboratory instruments
• Updating of SOPs and perform risk assessment
• Sampling of raw materials for QC testing
• Formulates validation protocols and validation reports required to qualify assay validations
• Provides a customer-focused service which meets and exceeds customer requirements Work as an effective member of a team

• Bachelor of Science majoring in Chemistry or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in pharmaceuticals or closely related industry performing QC testing, ideally with HPLC (highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of GMP
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
