Form of workOur client requires the assistance of Evolve Scientific Recruitment to source multiple Graduate Chemists to join their night shift team in an exciting role to assist with chemical and physical assessment of pharmaceutical goods and products.
The company is a well-known and recognised pharmaceutical organisation, located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne
About the role
This is a 6-month contract role, with a view for extension. Successful candidates will be required to start ASAP, working full-time hours Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing physical and chemical bench testing of pharmaceutical packaging/products, including but not limited to chromatography, precipitation and HPLC
- Calibrating laboratory instruments
- Assisting with the set-up of instrumentation
- General laboratory housekeeping
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- A Bachelor degree majoring in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Biotechnology with demonstrated completed subjects in Chemistry.
- Enthusiasm to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal
- Flexible to work nights and days
Recent graduates with a strong understanding and practical experience with Chemistry techniques are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided for motivated candidates.
