Airport Retail Enterprises at the Brisbane Airport are currently looking for experienced, talented chefs to work in our 8+ venues and associated production kitchen. 30+ hours and overtime pay available for the right candidates.
We currently have 270+ Bar Staff, Chefs, F&B Attendants & Baristas helping to deliver awesome experiences across our 8+ very fast paced restaurant & bar venues at the Brisbane Airport.
We deliver high-end venues in Australian airports and continue to change the image of airport food and beverage across Australia.
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent guest experience. You will also be required to prepare all mise-en-place and contribute to the venue's targets.
Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
- Ensure consistent, high-quality food, in line with the standards required by Airport Retail Enterprises.
- Bring new and 'on trend' menu ideas forward for implementation
- Contribute to kitchen revenue through effective adherence to recipe guidelines
- Keep all working areas clean and tidy, ensuring no cross-contamination
- Maintain food safety plan procedures and duties
- Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues
- Comply with airport security, fire regulations, health & safety and food safety legislation
- Be aware of restaurant targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team
