Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
- Prepare and store food ensuring stock rotation and control is maintained
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and workplace health and safety practices
- Care and maintenance of kitchen and equipment
- Monitoring portion and waste control
To be successful you will have:
- Experience in a high volume establishment
- Cert IV in Commercial Cookery
- Knowledge of food safety and WH&S principles
- Strong communication & time management skills
- Be a reliable team member and have great attention to detail.
This position will involve working days, nights and weekends but will have flexibility in the roster.
