Our leading divisions consist of construction, engineering, rural infrastructure, water storage, electrical and mining services.We seeking experienced Metal Fabricators, Metal Fabricator-Welders and Welders to join our team with multiple full time, permanent positions available at Kingsford, SA. Key Responsibilities of this role include:Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications;Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc;Examine work for defects, and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications;Set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment, grinders and carbon rod gauging;Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify supervisors;Undertake all other reasonable tasks and duties within your skill and ability, as directed. Skills & Experience:AQF 3 Trade Qualification – Fabrication;Minimum 5 years site experience;Driver’s Licence;Forklift Licence (desirable);Flexible approach and cooperative team attitude;Willingness to take undertake on-the-job training.The right person must have a ‘can do’ attitude. Remuneration:$65,000 - $72,000 per annum.
