Harold Hawthorne Community Centre is a not-for-profit organisation based in Carlisle. Our vibrant Centre runs community activities in our Community Centre and Social Activities Centre, provides care to people living in their own homes, and housing in our independent living retirement village and social housing units. We are dedicated to assisting seniors to continue to live independently and with dignity within their community.
We are seeking a suitably qualified and dedicated person to apply for the rewarding role of Quality and Compliance Manager.
The main objective of this position is to manage the Quality and Compliance areas of the organisation to support compliance and adherence to the Aged Care Quality Standards, WHS, relevant regulations, legislation, best practice and agreements with key stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
- Management of the Incident Register
- Continuous Improvement
- Development and implementation of policies, procedures and manuals
- Management of document control
- Internal audits and corrective action plans
- Analysis, evaluation, reporting and presentation of quality performance
- Communication and training
- Client consultation workshops and surveys
- Embed and promote a culture of quality throughout the organisation as per the Centre’s values of Respect, Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration and Quality and our strategic priorities.
To be considered, you will have:
- Possession of a relevant qualification or at least 5 years’ experience in quality management in the community services sector
- Internal Auditing or Lead Auditor Training
- A current satisfactory National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Computer proficiency (particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and a client management system)
- Demonstrated knowledge of data collection methods, analysis, reporting and presentation.
- Strong commitment to privacy and confidentiality when working with sensitive data.
- Excellent communication skills, using a collaborative and consultative approach.
- Strong administration skills with a high level of attention to detail.
